Dr. Susan Storti, PhD, MEd, LP, CCC
Dr. Susan Storti established Learning and Language Specialists in 1976. For more than 40 years, she has practiced as a diagnostician, therapist, educator, and writer. Dr. Storti is a Licensed Psychologist and holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Language and Speech Pathology. Her broad and diverse professional and educational background encompasses communication disorders, learning sciences, cognitive studies, neuropsychology, and special education. Dr. Storti established a practice that employs a multifaceted team approach to evaluate, identify, and treat individual cognitive styles and challenges.
Dr. Kendra Woodworth, PsyD, LP
Dr. Kendra Woodworth joined Learning and Language Specialists in 2015 and took over as the director at the end of 2017. She is a Licensed Psychologist and received her doctorate in clinical psychology at the Minnesota School of Professional Psychology. She has worked with children, adolescents, and adults providing comprehensive psychological evaluations and psychotherapy. Areas of interest for therapy include anxiety, depression, ADHD/executive functioning therapy and coaching, attachment, trauma, and behavioral concerns. Dr. Woodworth implements a combination of therapeutic techniques with consideration of clinical presentation, objectives for therapy, and client preferences.
Dr. Judy Yang, PsyD
Dr. Judy Yang received her doctorate in Counseling Psychology from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota in 2018. She has experience in conducting psychological evaluations and providing individual and group therapy to adolescents and adults in outpatient and inpatient settings. She strives to help clients cultivate tools and skills that fit their lifestyle and pushes them to their full potential. Dr. Yang works with individuals who are struggling with a variety of issues including, but not limited to, depression, anxiety, trauma, adverse childhood experiences, disruptive behavioral concerns, obsessive/compulsive behaviors, addiction, and executive functioning coaching.
Bobbi L. Rohwer, MS, CCC-SLP
Speech and Language Pathologist
Bobbi joined Learning and Language Specialists in 2018. She’s the owner of The Happy Speech Consultant as well as a research scout for the Informed SLP. Bobbi received her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Buena Vista University then pursued her graduate degree in Speech-Language Pathology & Audiology from the University of Central Missouri. She is currently pursuing her doctoral degree at the University of Minnesota.
Carolyn Larson, MA
Carolyn graduated from Gustavus Adolophus College with a B.A. in education and continued her training by obtaining a Master’s Degree in special education at the University of St. Thomas. She has helped students with learning disabilities and emotional/behavioral disorders for 18 years. She later attended the University of Wisconsin at River Falls and obtained her license as a school psychologist.
Elodie joined Learning and Language Specialists in 2018 to assist providers and clients with a variety of scheduling and administrative tasks. She will probably be the first person you have contact with at Learning and Language Specialists and will be happy to answer questions, set up appointments, and assist you with insurance and the billing process. She is pursuing her undergraduate degree and works as a nanny for children of a variety of ages. In her free time, Elodie enjoys spending time with her family, watching movies, and playing videogames.
Billing and Scheduling Support
LuAnn has been an integral aspect of Learning and Language Specialists since it was established in 1976. She received her education at Minnesota School of Business in Medical Administration and has gained experience and knowledge over the years in neuropsychology, insurance, and medical billing.
