Depending on your plan, our services may be covered in part by your medical insurance company. We are an out-of-network provider for all insurances but will submit claims to commercial insurance plans for you. Out-of-network services are usually paid after a deductible and a co-pay are met. If you have not yet met the deductible on your plan, you would end up owing the full fees charged and you are responsible for all charges regardless of your benefits. You may also elect to do self-pay and forego billing your commercial insurance plan. In these cases, we require half of our fee to be paid before the intake appointment and the balance is due at the time of the interpretation/feedback session. We can give you the information necessary for you to contact your insurance carrier and ask about your benefits prior to scheduling.
We accept payment via VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, and check. Our charges generally qualify for HSA accounts as they are considered qualified medical expenses. Sarah, our Administrative Assistant, would be happy to assist you with making payment for our charges.
Learning and Language Specialists are not able to see clients with the following insurance plans (primary or secondary): Medical assistance (MA), Medicaid, Medicare, PMAP plans, TEFRA, or other government/state assisted plans. These plans require members to see an in-network provider, which we are not.
